Vision148 turns collector cars into co-owned, investable alternative assets. Each car is listed as its own syndicate with a fixed number of ownership seats, its own build roadmap and its own investor pool.
The first listing is Car #148, a Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth acquired in 2024 after 15 years in storage and rebuilt as an engineering-led, one-of-one restomod. Its 25-seat syndicate offers 10 Founder allocations at £25,000 and 20 Associate allocations at £5,000. More cars will be added to the platform over time, each launched as a new syndicate.
We designed and engineered the full digital stack behind the offer:
Vision148.com— the brand and storytelling site that builds provenance, scarcity and desirability around the asset.
SyndicatedRestomod.com— the syndicate acquisition funnel: membership tiers, build phases, member benefits and waitlist capture.
Member portal— a secure login where custodians manage their allocation, documents and build updates.
Admin panel— the operations back office for investor onboarding, allocations, content and reporting.
Collector cars are illiquid, high-ticket assets with a narrow buyer pool. The client needed to lower the entry ticket, keep the asset exclusive, and run a regulated-style investment process without a manual, spreadsheet-driven back office.
High barrier to entry— a full restomod build is out of reach for most enthusiasts; ownership had to be fractionalised into affordable, tiered units.
Scarcity vs. conversion— each car is a one-of-one with limited seats, yet the sites still had to drive qualified leads into a waitlist and application pipeline.
Trust and transparency— investors in an alternative asset expect provenance, build documentation and clear reporting before they commit capital.
Investor lifecycle management— onboarding, KYC/AML checks, subscription documents, allocation tracking and capital calls needed one system of record.
Allocation control— every car has its own cap table and tiers, so seat inventory had to be tracked per asset to prevent oversubscription.
Scalability to a multi-car portfolio— the platform had to launch new cars as new syndicates without rebuilding the product, while one investor could hold seats in several cars.
Two brands, one operation— a heritage storytelling brand and a syndicate sales brand had to share one data layer, CRM and admin.
We built a connected four-part ecosystem on one shared backend, so every lead, investor and allocation lives in a single source of truth.

Platform ecosystem · 2 websites, portal, admin, shared backend
Both websites route “Register Interest” and “Join the Syndicate” traffic into the member portal; the admin panel approves, allocates and reports on every seat.
Brand layer (Vision148.com)— an editorial, heritage-led site: Manifesto, The Car, Process, Experience and Scarcity chapters, a Journal and partner showcase (DMC,MAHLE, Coventry Metalcraft, T3DMC, BAMD, ASM) that build asset provenance and top-of-funnel demand.
Acquisition layer (SyndicatedRestomod.com)— a conversion site that explains the syndication model, the four build phases, membership tiers and member benefits, with waitlist and membership-request capture.
Investment layer (Member portal)— the fractional platform: account registration, investor verification, tier selection, digital subscription, and a personal dashboard for holdings, documents and build progress.
Operations layer (Admin panel)— role-based back office to manage investors, approve applications, control allocation inventory, publish build updates and export reports.
Multi-asset by design: cars, syndicates, tiers and build phases are data, not code. Operations can list a new car, set its seat count and pricing, and open its syndicate from the admin panel; the portal then shows it to investors beside their existing holdings.
The platform runs on a headless, API-first architecture: two marketing front ends and two app front ends share one backend, database and document store. A multi-asset data model (car → syndicate → tier → allocation → investor) lets new cars launch through configuration rather than new development.
| Layer | What it does |
|---|---|
| Marketing sites | SEO-ready, media-rich brand and syndicate sites |
| Member portal &admin | SPA with protected routes and RBAC |
| Backend API | Auth, investors, allocations, content, reporting |
| Member portal &admin | SPA with protected routes and RBAC |
| Data | Cars, syndicates, per-car cap tables, investor records, audit logs |
| Integrations | KYC/AML, e-signature, payments, email/CRM |
| Infrastructure | Hosting, CDN, media storage, CI/CD |
Security and compliance: encrypted data in transit and at rest, JWT/session-based auth, role-based permissions, and a full audit trail on investor and allocation changes.
The client now runs a complete fractional-ownership business — from brand awareness to signed, allocated investors — on one platform instead of spreadsheets and email.
Asset democratisation— entry lowered from the cost of a full build to a £5,000Associate allocation, widening the investor pool.
Structured capital raise— each car gets its own fixed cap table (25 seats for Car #148)with tier-level inventory control and no oversubscription risk.
End-to-end digital onboarding— application, KYC, subscription and payment tracking in one self-serve flow.
Operational efficiency— one admin panel replaces manual investor tracking, approvals and reporting.
Investor trust and retention— transparent build updates, documents and events keep custodians engaged through the build lifecycle.
Reusable syndication engine— the platform is asset-agnostic, so each new car launches as a new syndicate from the admin panel, and existing verified investors can join it in a few clicks.
Add before publishing: real metrics (e.g. waitlist sign-ups, seats filled, capital raised, time-to-onboard), the tech stack, project timeline and team size, and screenshots of the portal and admin panel.
