Collectivault lets fans “Own a Piece of History”: authenticated memorabilia sourced directly from cultural icons, sold through time-limited drops, a reserve-priced vault with private bidding, and fractional shares for high-value pieces.
Every item carries its provenance, media and authentication record. Every transaction also funds grassroots causes: 10% of profits is split equally across three partner charities selected by the Icons each year.
Launch inventory includes Mo Farah’s 2012 Olympic race spikes (£6,500 reserve) and Andy Murray’s 2013 Wimbledon racket (£9,000 reserve), with vault listings from £1,700 to£9,000.
We designed and built the full product ecosystem:
Web platform— Exclusive Drops, The Vault, Fractional Shares, Icons, Fan Zone and Charity.
User accounts— sign-up, sign-in, bidding, purchases, share holdings and community participation.
Android and iOS apps— native mobile access to drops, bidding and portfolio, with push alerts for time-critical events.
Admin panel— the back office for inventory, authentication, auctions, users, charity allocation and community moderation.
The memorabilia market runs on trust, scarcity and timing, but most of it still trades through fragmented auction houses and resellers with weak provenance. Collectivault needed one platform that combined commerce, investment and fan community.
Authenticity and provenance— high-value items needed verifiable authentication and a documented chain of custody to earn buyer trust.
Multiple sales models— timed drops, reserve-priced listings with private bids, direct purchase and fractional shares each needed their own pricing and settlement logic.
Price accessibility— items worth thousands of pounds had to be opened to everyday fans through fractional ownership.
Time-critical transactions— countdown-driven drops and bidding windows demanded real-time updates and instant alerts on every device.
Cross-platform reach— fans expect to bid and buy on mobile, so web, Android and iOS had to share one account, wallet and inventory.
Charity accountability— the 10% profit-share model required transparent, auditable allocation across three partner charities.
Community at scale— an active Fan Zone needed moderation tools to keep discussion safe and on-brand.
We built an omnichannel marketplace on one API-first backend, so a fan’s account, bids, purchases and share holdings stay in sync across web, Android and iOS.

Platform ecosystem · web, Android, iOS, admin, shared backend
All three front ends read the same inventory and bidding engine; the admin panel controls what goes live and settles every transaction.
Commerce layer— Exclusive Drops for time-boxed releases and The Vault for reserve-priced, authenticated items with countdown timers and private bidding.
Investment layer— Fractional Shares split high-value memorabilia into affordable units, with holdings tracked in each user’s portfolio.
Engagement layer— Icon profiles and stories, plus the Fan Zone community with categories, threads, reactions and moderation.
Impact layer— charity pages and an automated 10% profit-share split across three partner charities.
Mobile layer— native Android and iOS apps with push notifications for drop launches, outbid alerts and closing countdowns.
Operations layer— a role-based admin panel for listings, authentication records, auctions, orders, users, payouts and community moderation.
One API-first backend serves the web platform, both native apps and the admin panel, with real-time events for countdowns, bids and community activity.
| Layer | What it does |
|---|---|
| Web platform | SEO-ready storefront, Vault, Drops, Fan Zone |
| Mobile apps | Native Android and iOS clients |
| Admin panel | Role-based back office |
| Backend API | Accounts, inventory, bidding engine, shares, orders |
| Real-time | Live countdowns, bid updates, Fan Zone activity |
| Data | Items, bids, share ledger, users, charity allocations |
| Integrations | Payments, KYC, push notifications, email, media storage |
| Infrastructure | Hosting, CDN, media storage, CI/CD |
Security and compliance: encrypted data in transit and at rest, token-based auth across web and mobile, PCI-compliant payments, role-based admin permissions, and an audit trail on bids, share allocations and charity payouts.
Collectivault now runs drops, auctions, fractional sales, community and charity giving from one platform, reachable on web, Android and iOS.
Multiple revenue streams— drops, reserve-priced bidding, direct sales and fractional shares run on one inventory and checkout.
Wider buyer pool— fractional shares open items worth up to £9,000 to fans who could not buy them outright.
Trust built in— provenance, media and authentication on every listing reduce buyer risk and support premium pricing.
Higher engagement— push alerts and countdowns drive urgency, while the Fan Zone keeps fans returning between drops (12K visitors a week and 4K daily contributions shown on the dev build).
Transparent social impact— the 10% charity split is calculated and recorded automatically, strengthening brand purpose for Icons and buyers.
Scalable operations— new Icons, items and drops launch from the admin panel without development work.
Add before publishing: live metrics (users, GMV, bids placed, shares sold, charity fundsraised), App Store and Google Play links, the tech stack, timeline and team size, and screenshots of the apps and admin panel.
